In order to commemorate the Gaecheon-jeol Day, Daehansarang Inc., is hosting an online event titled 2020 World Gaecheon Culture Grand Festival with the themes of K-Spirit, K-Culture, and K-History.
‘사단법인 대한사랑’은 개천절을 맞이하여 K-Spirit, K-Culture, K-History를 주제로 ‘지구촌 온택트 만남 2020 세계개천문화대축제’를 개최합니다.

Last year’s event, ‘the 2019 Gaecheon Culture Grand Festival’ was successfully hosted with more than 4,000 attendees who support Korean history and culture.
지난 ‘2019 개천문화국민대축제’는 한국의 역사문화에 뜻있는 4천 여 명의 운집 속에 성황리에 개최된 바 있습니다.

And despite heavy social-distancing policies due to the Covid-19, there were countless requests for an event for this year as well. So, we’ve prepared an online festival this year which will be broadcasted live via YouTube and Zoom. I hope you all can join me and awaken again to the true meaning of Gaecheon and experience the passion and inspiration together from the grand festival. Thank you very much.

Singing the Sinsi Gaecheon
신시개천開天을 노래하다

6,000 years ago, Heavenly Emperor Hwan-ung pioneered the Eastern land and established the Baedal nation at the city of Sinsi. Succeeding Baedal, Joseon was established by Dangun Wanggeom 4,353 years ago and the lineage continued through Northern Buyeo(Ten States Period) - Goguryeo, Baekjae, Shilla, and Gaya(Four Kingdoms Period) - Daejin and Shilla(North and South Period) - Goryeo – Joseon and to the Republic of Korea.
약 6천 년 전 ‘환웅桓雄’천황께서 동방 땅을 개척하시고 신시를 도읍으로 ‘배달倍達’ 나라를 세우셨습니다. ‘배달’을 이어 4353년 전에 비로소 ‘단군왕검檀君王儉’이 ‘조선’을 여시고, 이후 ‘북부여(열국시대)-고구려⸱백제⸱신라⸱가야(사국시대)-대진⸱신라(남북국시대)-고려-조선’으로 이어져 오늘의 대한민국에까지 이르고 있습니다.

Gaecheon-jeol Day is the day that Heavenly Emperor Hwanung established the Baedal in the Eastern Land. The founding philosophy of Gaecheon known as Hongik-ingan is a philosophy of peace and mutual life-betterment of ‘becoming a person that acquired the resplendence of the heaven and earth to create a brighter world and widely benefit all people.’
개천절은 환웅천황께서 동방 땅에 배달국을 여신 날로, 개천의 이념인 홍익인간은 ‘하늘땅의 광명을 체득한 사람(大韓)이 되어 밝은 세상을 만들고 널리 인간을 이롭게 한다’는 평화와 상생의 극치의 이념입니다.

If we go back in history, we find that all of humanity came from one root. But we have lost this information, that we are brothers and sisters from a one big global family, due to a great distortion in the world’s history. We must recover this lost primordial history to truly understand that everyone in the world are indeed one family.
역사를 거슬러 올라가면 온 인류는 하나의 뿌리에서 출발했습니다. 그러나, 역사의 부침과 왜곡된 기록 속에서 우리는 본래 한 형제, 지구촌 일가였다는 것을 잃어버렸습니다. 이제는 잃어버린 시원 역사를 바로 찾아서 전 세계가 하나라는 것을 깨우쳐야 합니다.

In the 1st part of the event, we will reveal the truth of distorted human history by sharing the meaning and message of Gaecheol-jeol Day. Further, we will learn about how the global society can truly be one through the culture of resplendence, the primordial spirit, resting within the root history of humanity.
1부에서는 개천절의 의미를 통해 왜곡된 인류역사의 진실을 드러내고, 나아가 ‘인류의 뿌리역사’ 속의 원형 정신인 광명 문화를 통해 지구촌 모두가 크게 하나 될수 있음을 이야기 합니다.

Proclaim Gaecheon Again
다시 개천開天을 선포하라

If we look back on our recent past where the Covid-19 pandemic has become a part of our daily lives, we notice there are so many problems other than diseases. Humanity is yet to find a real solution to the problems of natural disasters, wealth gap, international conflict, racial conflict, and war.
COVID-19 팬데믹이 일상화된 지금의 슬픈 현실을 되돌아 보면, 질병뿐이 아닌 수 많은 문제들이 있다는 것을 알수 있습니다. 자연재해, 빈부격차, 국제·인종 간 갈등과 전쟁 등은 진정한 해법을 찾지 못한 채 표류한지 오래입니다.

Today, humanity is facing a time of grand transition of civilization. And now we must proclaim the message of Gaecheon to the world.
지금 인류는 문명의 대전환기를 맞이하고 있습니다. 그리고 지금 우리는 세상을 향해 개천을 선언해야만 합니다.

Gaecheon, like Gaebyeok, can mean ‘bringing forth a new heaven and new earth’, or more specifically, ‘commencement into a new era.’
개천은 새로운 하늘, 새로운 시대를 연다는 개벽과 같은 뜻으로 해석될 수 있습니다.

In the 2nd part of the event, we’ll have an invitation lecture from Chairman Ahn, Gyeong-jeon of STB Sangsaeng Broadcasting to learn about the new messages of ‘Gaebyeok again’ and ‘Gaecheon again’, which had been proclaimed on the Eastern land of Korea 150 years ago.
2부에서는 지금으로부터 약 150년 전 동방의 한국땅에서 선포된 다시 개벽, 다시 개천의 소식을 STB상생방송 안경전 이사장님의 특별 초청 강연을 통해 알아봅니다.

Chairman Ahn, Gyeong-jeon is an erudite scholar and a pioneer who has been conveying the idea of Sangsaeng, the law of mutual betterment, since the 80s, through his books including the best seller, “This is Gaebyeok”
안경전 이사장님은 1980년대부터 “이것이 개벽이다” 등의 책을 통하여 상생의 정신을 전해온 현대문명의 석학이며, 선구자입니다.

His work in public lectures in which he provides the answers to all the problems of modern society by introducing the culture of resplendence as the ultimate solution, was no different than the core values of Daehansarang. So, we’ve invited the chairman as a special guest to learn from his precious and unparalleled lecture.
또한 현대사회의 숱한 문제들의 해답은 인류 시원역사 속의 광명 문화정신에 있다는 것을 알리기 위해 전 세계인을 대상으로 그동안 숱한 대중 강연을 해 오신 것이 대한사랑이 추구하는 가치와도 동일한 바, 이번 행사에 특별히 초청하여 귀중한 강연을 듣는 자리를 마련하였습니다.
